If you are a fan of microfiber sheets you might not care for these, but I'm not a microfiber fan. These sheets are much more durable and I'm very happy with them. They have a bit of a slippery feel to them which is ok for me and unsure of how that will change with continued washings. The bottom fitted sheets have nice deep pockets and the top sheet isn't skimpy at all. The pillow cases are more than ample if you are a king size pillow person. My last set of split king sheets were "Bed Gear" brand but their price is now $250 and that's ridiculous considering they didn't last! So for the price, this split king sheet set meets all my expectations and would definitely order them again!2018:I bought my first set of these sheets 2 years ago, purchasing a set in Ivory. Long term the only problem I noticed is that the stitching along the top border of the sheet shrinks more than the material, causing it to bunch and pucker a little. I simply use an iron to flatten that out.I recently bought another set in blue, and these sheets are different. They have much deeper pockets then my previous set, so they don't fit my mattress as snuggly as the Ivory set and I end up with bunches and wrinkles as I sleep. These sheets also sleep warmer than my previous set, and I find myself throwing off the covers when I get hot in the night, an interesting experience in winter. And these sheets are not wrinkle free, coming fresh out of the dryer with large wrinkles I have to iron out. (Most small wrinkles and crumples I simply put up with because they disappear as we sleep on the sheets. such as the case with the ivory set of sheets I bought two years ago. This blue set has deep, harsh wrinkles when I pull the sheets fresh from the uncrowded dryer at the end of the cycle.)While currently soft the material feels very much like the material of a different pair of sheets I bought some time ago that eventually started pilling. My Ivory set of these sheets bought two years ago has never pilled. Perhaps the fabric selected has been changed over the past 2 years, and perhaps my previous set had a higher percentage of polyester in the blend. I wish the sheets were the same as 2 years ago, as that is what I expected when I ordered my second set.I originally gave these sheets a 5-star rating because they were so comfortable and worked so well for me other than the top border's seam shrinking. I am downgrading my review to 4 Stars given some of the issues with this newer set. these are definitely supposed to be the same sheets that I ordered two years ago, as I used the reorder option on Amazon so that I would be sure to get the exact same sheets.2016:I love these sheets! I washed them first before using and they came out of the dryer needing next to no ironing at all. I'm quite picky about the border edge of my top sheet (where it touches my chin or cheek as I sleep), so I do iron out any bunching folds that occur on the border. While some such folds occurred in the dryer they were quickly and easily ironed out, and the rest of the sheet needed no ironing whatsoever. The borders are also simple enough to be comfortable (no decorative frills to tickle and bother as I sleep) but look quite nice. The sheets have a slight slickness that works quite well for my husband and me -- no more sheets wrapping around our legs, no more covers "walking" to one side of the bed as we sleep. The fit of the sheets is good. I worried that the top sheet wouldn't be long enough (had less than 4 inches to tuck under at the foot), but since the sheets don't grab us as we move about our covers are staying tucked in better. This actually makes it easier to make the bed since I don't have to shove sheets as far under the mattress. The fitted sheets fit our mattresses very well and don't pull loose or bunch up underneath us.For me the slickness is a bit of a detraction in the pillowcases, however. I find my pillow sliding about a little more than I like. My husband, however, has no problem with the cases, so I will simply let him use these pillow cases and I will use others that I like better.I am definitely planning to buy another split king set, and will also order in some twin XL sets for my kids' beds.Had these sheets for seven years and they have held up very wellThe more I wash, the better they become. These sheets are soft and thick. One problem I had though was when they are washed & dried they draw up in the seams area and no longer maintain the shape, especially the pillow cases. You have to pull the seams and you can hear the seams ripping. Don't think I can recommend them based on the seams issue. These sheets seem fine. Don't have a problem w wrinkling but don't believe these are cotton sheets (I've had them awhile). Not particularly soft but ok. The deep pockets still pull off of the bed sometimes. I would buy a cheaper sheet set next time as this set was nothing special. Not bad just ok.I've had these sheets 3 years and I'm giving them a 5 for durability and how long they've lasted (I only have 2 pairs of sheets and this set was the only pair I had for the first year and few months; I washed them weekly or less) but a 3 for some things that just kinda irk me about them. They've never fit my mattress right. I think the corners are out of square, in the sewing, on the fitted sheet. I have probably about the most generic, basic, standard mattress made. It isn't over thick or over tall or whatever, but it isn't a 'second quality' either. It's the sheet that is out of whack and almost too tight. I feel like I'm wrestling, pulling opposite corners on and that last corner just requiring a lotta heaving and ho'ing, both arms tugging the corner and a foot pushing the mattress 'in' to the sheet, towards the opposite corner, to just ? make ? it ? FIT ?. The flat sheet could stand to be a few inches longer (2-3") and wider (3-4"). Again, my very economical, very basic, very standard mattress isn't oversized or over deep. It's barely standard deep! And this sheet 'fits' like I boiled the sheet and it shrank, all the way around, way too much. The part that REALLY ? IRKS ? THE ? [BLEEP] ? OUTTA ? ME is that even if I iron the top of the flat sheet, it absolutely will not straighten out. I definitely think there is a sewing error across the top that causes this issue. Finally, as soft as the sheets were the first few months I had them, they're just kinda standard 650ish thread count soft now. Like... they're fine but not the sheets I choose to put on my bed much anymore. They're more the "Oof, that thing that came up today kept me from washing my bed sheets, I guess I'll get those blue ones out the closet and throw them on".FWIW - next set of sheets I buy will be Supima cotton. I've learned that the Supima cotton is widely accepted as the gold standard in exclusively USA-grown, soft and thick cotton as it is made from extra long fibers, which is what gives Supima cotton it's superior quality and feel. Not just Pima cotton, Supima. Like I said, FWIW...I purchased a set of these about 5 years ago and they were 5-star all the way! Super soft, durable. They were my favorite sheets ever, but finally wore out (in rotation with others) so naturally I wanted to replace with the exact same ones, including the color. Well, the new ones are hard and stiff, even after washing. Not soft and cozy at all. I'm quite disappointed actually. I thought I found "the brand" but apparently not consistent (at least over time).I have purchased these sheet sets before. The quality is excellent, fit as described, very durable and wash wrinkle free. Sheets were delivered earlier than projected.Lovely quality. The colour is much lighter than shown on the picture.Nice come out of washer like cardboard but come out of tumble dryer soft
