One pillow showed up with odd horizontal threading marks on one side (as if something went wrong at the mill). The flat sheet and one pillow showed up with a black scuff in the fabric (each one about an inch long). The tag on the fitted sheet clearly was cut, cropping/cutting some type of other information that is longer there. Nothing on packaging or on the fabric tag tells you actual thread count. Tag says "100% Egyptian Cotton" while packaging was labeled "100% Cotton Sheets."The photographs are after the sheets have been washed (I did not use a fabric softer). The black scuffs did not leave after washing, but I know over time with washing and presoaking they will yield. The fabric is thick and did show up glossy/shinny as if the cotton had been chemically treated prior. After wash, the high-gloss look disappeared and I know with more washing, the cotton will relax and become less stiff. I wish I knew the real thread count (I have attached a photo also of an old 1200 Count 100% Egyptian Cotton Sheet/Knit I have here at the house).As a NYER it's hard to find 100% cotton sheets (over a 500 count) in a store for under $50. I'm not entirely disappointed. I know I can get the scuffs out over time. The sheets are thick like I wanted but they don't really breathe like I wanted. Since colder weather is coming, I will not worry about the breathability this round. The only true disappointment is the odd horizontal threading marks on the one pillows side.Wish these had been around years ago!!! I only use 100% cotton sheets for the comfort, breathability, and non-pilling qualities. My most recent sheets had been from Kohls and they were ok, but it was time to replace them after all three bottom sheet sets literally wore out in the middle. I did much research and settled for a set from Wamsutta, but they were absolutely horrible; felt very plastic-ky, were noisey, and did not breathe. So, I got onto Amazon and looked for the highest ratted, 100% cotton sheets and discovered these. With a rating of 4.7 stars and 89% customer satisfaction I decided to give them a try. WOW!!!!! Now this is what sheets should feel like. I knew as soon as I removed them from the package that their quality was far superior to any other sheets I have ever owned. I washed and dried them according to directions, and made up my bed with them. AHHH!!! I LOVE the way they feel !!! So extremely comfortable and luxurious. Way better than any hotel sheets I have ever tried. As other reviewers have commented that they continue to get softer with each washing I can only anticipate many, many more nights of restful sleep. I wish they had added another inch all the way around on the bottom, fitted sheet. I have a 15" mattress and although I did get it on, it was a very snug fit. This, however, is not such a drawback as to dissuade me from buying more.These sheets are the highest quality sheets I have ever found. They are thick so you have a feel of separation from the mattress pad, pillow, etc, but understand, thick in a very positive way. They are luxuriously soft and smooth with extremely high quality cotton along with a very high thread count. The company is over the top crazy huge about reaching out to every customer to make sure you are happy and offering to do anything to both ensure you are getting what you expect for exact fit and checking after you receive their products that you are happy and checking to see if there is anything you would like them to change, I was completely stunned at the amazing customer service, I have never experienced such fantastic customer service. I have also purchased extremely expensive 100% cotton sheets with similar high thread counts from major high end luxury brands over the years which were generally very nice quality, however these sheets are in a league of their own, extremely superior and at a shockingly low price compared to the luxury brands I have bought in the past. I have now bought 8 sheet sets, duvet covers, mattress pads, euro shams, etc. for 2 different homes as well as well my daughters college sororities bedrooms. My family loves these sheets, duvet covers, mattress pads, etc. We are extremely pleased and love these sheets!Last May I bought these sheets and a set of bamboo sheets. The cotton are my winter sheets and the bamboo the summer sheets. I love these cotton sheets. They fit my extra deep mattress+topper and most importantly, they stay on. They feel great and look good. I take them off, wash them and put them back on an they are holding up very well. The top sheet shrunk just enough that it barely tucks under at the bottom. Nevertheless, I still gave them five stars because I really love these sheets and I love the fact the bottom sheet stays put. They feel so nice! I would purchase again and in fact bought the twin size for my nephew.I have been searching for 100% cotton sheets with at least a 800 tc for a good while now and was about to give up on finding a set that I would be happy with until I happen to come across these here on amazon. I had my doubts about buying sheets without seeing them first but went ahead and purchased the ivory full size and I was amazed at how well they are made. These sheets have the right thickness that I’ve been looking for and are 100% cotton. I’m very pleased with this purchase and will be purchasing again soon to have a extra set. By the way they do wrinkle some but not that noticeable if you get them out of the drier and on the bed while they are still warm. If your looking for good affordable sheets, then I recommend these. Great buy!!Very soft and no damage after washing in the washing machine .Been using them for 2 weeks now, very satisfied so far. These are heavy and warm, which I like. Will update this review if anything changes my opinion on them.Muy buenas
