Although the color was a bit off from my burgundy Egyptian striped sheets, the feel of the duvet reminds me of the percale sheets I used to sleep on as a kid (back in the 70's). Its a bit heavier than the Egyptian cotton, but in the long run the duvet will last longer, so its a better buy. Its not as silky soft yet its not rough...just a bit heavier. Cotton naturally wrinkles, unless it is chemically treated, but why would you want chemicals against your skin. I've experienced microfiber and cotton is still number one because we naturally do sweat while we sleep and microfiber is non-absorbant. My daughter bought the microfiber and she threw it out. We lower the temp in the house for the winter and so the duvet and comforter is so comfy all night and wonderful in the morning. I do cringe in the morning when I get out from bed to start the wood stove fire because it is so comfortable under the duvet and comforter.Love love love itI purchased this set as a housewarming gift for a decorating client. The color is perfect even though it was difficult to carefully evaluate it from the photo on the website. The quality is very good,the price was outstanding and the actual size of the duvet cover was larger than similar products costing more. I am very satisfied with this purchase and my client is thrilled, thanking me several times for giving her such a wonderful gift.Very comfy and nice! looks and feels great! Pillow covers look gigantic! I didn't know there are king-sized pillow covers. I bought this thing during Amazon Prime day for $22. Can't beat the price!Good quality. This product may be labeled as Egyptian cotton and may be made from it, but it is itchy and scratchy. There is nothing soft or comfortable about this duvet. My son did not get sleep the first night because he was tossing and turning. He eventually through the duvet on the floor (after taking it off the comforter insert). I washed it again to see if I could soften it up for him and this did not work. Returning and buying a cheaper yet softer duvet (that I purchased to replace my similar duvet).Softer than I anticipated. It arrived faster than the estimated arrival date.This is a fabulous duvet! Not only soft, but thick and durable, with a wonderful weight that complements my comforter in a very cozy way. So pleased with this purchase!Ottima qualità del tessuto con finiture di livello superiore.
