Real Egyptian Cotton Sheets have "Egyptian Cotton" on the tag. These say "100% Cotton". I waited too long to open them. This unable to return one I saw the tag missing the authenticator word "Egyptian". I've given these sheet a year and more than 12 washes using them in the RV for a total of least three months. I know excellent quality Egyptian cotton sheets. I use authentic 1200TC Egyptian Cotton sheets on my bed and in all of the guest bedroom. The 1200tc authentic Egyptian cotton sheets are thick, crisp, excellent at regulating temperature year round, and state "Egyptian Cotton" on the tag. Anything else claiming to be Egyptian Cotton without stating so on the tag are counterfeit. These indeed counterfeit. I purchased these specifically for the new fifth wheel. These are super thin low quality cotton sheets. The quality is only slightly better than the average 300tc cotton sheet I had as a young adult. It's to the point where single ply cotton fibers are spun so incredibly thin, four threads are necessary to equal what is considered a single ply thread in the luxury sheet market. These are in no way luxurious or Egyptian cotton. Do yourself a favor and buy sheets from a local retailer. This way you're able to feel the sheets your paying a premium for.As with all cotton sheets, they do get slightly softer with each wash. And yes, cotton sheets require ironing. That said my 1200TC authentic Egyptian cotton sheets only require ironing of top hem on the flat sheet thanks to their thickness and softness. If your sheets feel like paper, sounds like paper crinkling, and sticks to your skin, they're low quality. Combed cotton sheets are softer and less likely to stick to your skin to begin with.All in all, these counterfeit sheets are way over priced, low thread count cotton sheets you're more likely to find in a hourly rate motel, not a high-end hotel. Some might argue plastic, ahem excuse me "microfiber" sheets are better than these.This is a follow-up to a review I posted. When I first received a regular king set, the fitted sheet fit perfectly but the flat sheet was too short. I notified Blueclans and they resolved the issue beyond my expectations. After I originally emailed them, I had a lot of things going on and didn't follow up with them. Well, I didn't need too -they followed up first! They were right on top of confirming my mailing address and exactly what size I needed. They ended up shipping a Cal King fitted sheet instead of the regular king with no problem at all. And, I received a thank you note for reaching out to them regarding my concern. I was so impressed!!!The sheets are soft and have a nice weight to them. Not really a full size though, the fitted sheet fits my 14" thick mattress, but the flat sheet does not even get to half the depth of the mattress, and can't be tucked on on the sides. This is true also for the length, if you want to tuck under the feet side you can't fold over the head side. Very stingy indeed!I probably spent way too much time researching sheets, but I wanted crisp white cotton sheets. I thought I would try these Egyptian Cotton 1000 thread count sheets and I’m very happy with them. The fitted pockets are very deep so no chance of them slipping off. I’ve washed them twice and they do wrinkle, however, they smooth right out once on the bed. I wish manufacturers would make queen pillowcases an inch or two longer. Just a personal wish. Speaking of pillowcases, I chose these sheets because I could order an extra set of pillowcases. I assumed they would actually match, but they weren’t even close. They were thin and silky. Not as thick as the 1,000 TC sheets I normally get so it felt like more in the 600 to 800 TC typical range in terms of thickness and TC. Still nice though.The thread count is probably accurate and the quality is acceptable. Wrinkle-free they are not, but could easily be handled by an iron. Fitted sheet is fits my mattress with room to spare. I would have liked to see another 2" of material on both the other sheet and the pillow cases. Pillow cases just fit my pillows and I would like to have more sheet to tuck around the mattress.
